Atelier Volvox - Snowbell

The Snowbell lamp owes its poetic expression to the cast porcelain. With this method, the wall thickness depends on the drying time. When the ceramist pours the mould in several steps, the different wall thicknesses create a hidden pattern, which is brought out by the light, as a bud or as a delicate movement. This is how the lamp tells the story of its production when used.
